5:55 pm EST: The soft commodities (CORN, WEAT, JJG, JO) are all getting interesting here after a 3rd push down to slightly lower lows. The weekly MCAD’s are showing a positive divergence.
CORN (weekly): ST target 26 and IT target 32.
WEAT (weekly): ST target 12 and IT target 16.
JJG (weekly): ST target 36 and IT target 40.
JO (weekly): Reached it’s double top target of 18.21. ST target 24 and IT target 30.

2:00 pm EST: Both CORN and WEAT are at the 88% retrace limits for this minor wave 2. A break of the their recent lows of 22.35 and 9.81 could lead to test of their 2009/2010 Cycle lows of 18.82 and 8.98. JO this past week already set a new cycle low below 20.37 at 19.97 and could be headed for the double top (42.87) target of 18.21.

CORN weekly chart: New low on CORN below 22.62. Target is the 88% retrace at 21.89 to 21.40, where [C]=0.62[A]. Potential weekly MACD +Div.
WEAT weekly chart: 9.86 low holding so far. Potential weekly MACD +Div.

6:20 pm EST: CORN and WEAT count updates are shown below.
Note: For the WEAT weekly chart, the ETN did not exist in 2009, so the 10.25 price was an approximation of the 210 cycle low based on Wheat Futures. Wheat Futures closed at 482 today and the actual 2009 cycle low was considerably lower at 425. Thus P2 has some more room to move below 10.25 without a wave violation. A re-calculation for the 2009 cycle low is approximately 8.98.
