10:40 am EST: The DIA (DJIA-30) ETF is the one index that broke above it’s August high in November and has confirmed the P2-C3 bottom in October at 286.62. The recent drop from 348.22 to 325.65 has been a near perfect back-test of the flat to slightly rising 200-day SMA (324.68).
There are some ‘old school” technical analyst that believe the DJIA-30 “leads” all other indices. So it’s one to keep an eye on. Thus, I will keep updating the DIA charts during 2023.

5:00 pm EST: The DIA 200-day SMA went flat from Nov 29th to Nov 30th at 324.79! This is the pre-cursor to a positive movement, which is bullish.

11:35 am EST: The DIA has broken out well above it’s 200-day SMA, which is flat and about to turn positive confirming the P2-C3 bottom.

5:15 pm: The DIA (DJIA-30 ETF) came within a whisker of fully confirming it’s P2-C3 low at 286.62. The DIA closed at 338.37 well above it’s 200-day SMA of 325.54. However, the 200-day 200 SMA ticked own today slightly from 325.56 to 325.54, it is not quite upward sloping. It should turn flat next Monday and then move upward.
Also moving above the August high of 343.09 would be further confirmation a new bull market P3-C3 wave.

DIA at 333 has now moved well above the 200-day SMA at 325 that has flattened out and is about to turn higher. This is a first very important step to confirming the P2-C3 bottom at 286.
