October 31st, 2018: SP-500 Chart Update

3:45 pm EST:  Both wave counts are right on schedule with a rally up to at least the 2813, if not much higher (alt blue).

    There is a very interesting potential for the alt blue count. The low at 2603 was right in the green box in the .786 – .886 zone, and price did not tag the bear set median line, at least not so far. That usually sets up a move back to the upper line, and in my observations, often past it. An external retrace of the move down off 2941 to 1.128 = 2984, and to 1.27 = 3032. Depending on time, that area has a high probability of landing at the upper line of the blue median line set, and the red trend line.

    Backing out to a longer view, the low is just above the .382. With the election next week being seen as a defining event, a retest or wave 2 could occur sometime over the next several sessions. In any event, that’s the case I see for the alternate…

    Rat8nine, can you please clarify? Are you saying that a revisit to the bear set median line is possible? It’s below your green box now and will continue to progress lower.

      No, I am saying that failure to hit the bear set median line sets up a probable move to the upper line of the bear set, if that makes sense….
