April 1st, 2014: SP-500 Long-Term View Update

Posted by pugsma on March 31, 2014

6:35 pm  EST:  With the SP-500 threatening to break above 1884, it’s good time to take another look at the SP-500 long-term view.  It’s very possible the that move up from the major [4]-P3 low of 1738 to 1884 is only wave minor 1 of major [5]-P3-C1.  This would mean that the recent 1842 low is minor 2 of major [5] and a minor 3 wave up is just beginning.  This minor 3 wave could take the SP-500 well above 2000 to 2078, where minor 3 = 1.62*minor 1, and last well in the fall of 2014.   In this case the final destination for P3-C1 would somewhere between 2085, where major [5]=[1] to 2215, where P3 = 1.62*P1, at the end of 2014.  Just keep this more bullish version of the primary count in mind if the SP-500 pushed past the 1941 to 1953 area in late April to early May.
