November 15th, 2013: Football and Weekend Music

There is no greater TEAM game than football. I’ve watched with great pride as my youngest son, Tony, has played the game with guts and passion since age 8. His high school career is winding down. After making a “near perfect” run to the Illinois Class 7A (2nd largest schools enrollment of 200o-2600) State Championship game last year (2012) only to come up a few yards short losing 8-10, the Griffins are once again just two games from the State Championship.
As my son Tony (#40 starting middle linebacker) and his #3 Lincoln-Way East (Frankfort, IL) Griffins prepare to play the #1 Edwardsville Tigers in the Illinois Class 7A Quarterfinals tomorrow, I wanted to share some inspirational clips from my favorite sports movies of all-time: Remember The Titans.
